What are "D" Groups?
D-Groups are small groups of disciples who are committed to discipling one another. True disciples are mutually committed to training, to learning, to encouraging, to suporting, to loving, and to being held accountable to one another. Through becoming invested in or leading a "D" Group, the disciple embraces the teaching and assists in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. New "D" Groups are continually being enlisted. The goal is not to encourage people only to "come to church", rather, the goal is to, "be the curch," in their culture. This is why off campus "D" groups are so crucial to the process.
In an effort to simplify the process, especially for new comers, each small group will be called a "D" group. Sunday morning "D" Groups were formerly known as Sunday School Classes. Men's and Women's "D" Groups were formerly known as Men's Ministry and Women's Ministry Classes. Off Campus "D" Groups were formally know as Care Groups. Each "D" Group is uniformly committed to making disciples.
Disciples do not have to be involved in every "D" group because there are too many. New Beginnings Church is honored to provide the following "D" Groups:
Sunday mornings, Sunday night Off Campus, Tuesday morning, Wednesday night, and Thursday morning. A disciple can attend as often as is helpful for their spiritual maturity.
